Fresh from a £1.2 million refit, the Old Mill and a sea-facing Crows Nest annexe blend coastal charm with timber-frame, eco-minded design. The main hostel keeps a playful pirate theme and a cosy woodburning stove. Sixteen simple rooms with showered bathrooms, family-friendly treasure trails, a playroom and dress-up toys make it great for kids and groups.

Wake up to sea-breeze mornings and make use of a bar, restaurant, seaside dining room with sunset views, and the Quarterdeck café.
