Licuala Lodge  

Set in Mission Beach's world‑heritage rainforest, Licuala Lodge is a timber Queenslander lodge just 1.5 km from the beach and close to Wongaling Beach village. Family‑friendly and neighbour‑free, it's a quiet base for beach and nature days.

Guest rooms sit in a separate timber cottage with long verandahs and garden views. Four queen rooms (double or twin on request) and a larger king room with its own patio all have private ensuites; a guest lounge with books, games and a full kitchen adds relaxed communal space.

The headline feature is a large salt‑water swimming pool with a waterfall set against award‑winning tropical gardens that attract birds, butterflies and the occasional endangered cassowary.
