Cottage Morinokokage

In the mountains of Yakushima, tucked between Anbo and Miyanoura for easy island access. A short drive lands you at Yakushima Botanical Research Park, Toroki Falls and the Yakusugi Nature Museum. Yakushima Airport is only minutes away, so you’re close to trails, rivers and morning sunrises over Tanegashima.

A cluster of about 10–12 small, individually decorated cottages with private balconies or patios. Rooms come with refrigerators and flat-screen/LCD TVs, low-rebound mattresses and pillows, tea sets and hammocks. Expect clear mountain views by day and brilliant stars at night—walking distance to the shoreline for sunrise spotting.
