Minshuku Sansui  

Tucked on Yakushima island, Minshuku Sansui is a compact guesthouse-style minshuku a short drive from Toroki Falls and Yakushima Botanical Research Park. It sits about 11 km from the town center and is within a couple of miles of Mt. Mocchomudake and Senhiro Fall; Yakusugi Nature Museum and Mount Miyanoura are reachable by longer drives.

Small and straightforward with just six guestrooms, Sansui pairs simple minshuku-style comfort with modern touches. Rooms include flat-screen TVs and slippers, and bathrooms offer separate bathtubs and showers plus complimentary toiletries and hair dryers.
