About the place
Where
Beneath Glacier Point and Half Dome in Yosemite Valley. Camp Curry sits inside Yosemite National Park and offers budget-friendly, rustic lodging steps from the park’s biggest sights.
Details
Opened in 1899 by David and Jennie Curry, the village still keeps a warm, historic vibe. Accommodations are scattered through the village and range from Yosemite cabins with private baths and outdoor decks to classic canvas tent cabins with wooden floors and doors. Cabins have electric wall heaters, outlets and lighting but no TVs or phones. Tent cabins have lighting but no outlets or plumbing and rely on shared shower facilities. Daily housekeeping, linens and towels are provided. Note: tent-cabin heat is seasonal — not heated year‑round (heat is turned off the Friday before Memorial Day and back on the Tuesday after Labor Day).
Amenities
Seasonal outdoor swimming pool, centrally located bath houses, a gift shop, and a dining pavilion. Free shuttle service connects you to key spots around Yosemite Valley. Educational programs run regularly. Wake up to the sounds and sights of the valley from your deck or patio.
Dining
A dining pavilion on site serves casual meals to guests, continuing the property’s long history of welcoming visitors with a good bed and a clean napkin. It’s a convenient spot to refuel before heading out on hikes or tours.
