Daintree Ecolodge  

Hidden in the heart of the World Heritage‑listed Daintree Rainforest, this eco-friendly treehouse lodge sits 110 km north of Cairns and 45 km north of Port Douglas. It’s the only place where the Daintree Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef meet — a rare rainforest accommodation for nature lovers.

Fifteen eco-friendly bayans (treehouses) perch in the rainforest canopy with private balconies and rainforest views. Rooms include fridges, minibars, tea/coffee gear, desks and separate sitting areas, plus private bathrooms with showers (some units list spa baths and bathrobes). Wake to birdsong, stroll to the lodge’s private waterfall, and soak up simple, nature-forward décor.

A full spa and beauty salon offer massages, body treatments and facials. Unwind on sun loungers in the garden, browse the library or pick up souvenirs at the gift shop. On-site perks include a restaurant, bar/lounge, concierge, laundry and luggage storage; airport shuttle is available for a surcharge and free self-parking is onsite. Complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast is served daily.
