Headwaters Glenorchy Eco Lodge

Tucked at the head of Lake Wakatipu in Glenorchy, this eco lodge is a short walk from Glenorchy Waterfront Reserve, Glenorchy Wharf and Glenorchy Golf Club. Pet-friendly and family-friendly, it’s also a gateway to Routeburn Track and the Te Wahipounamu UNESCO area.

New Zealand’s only Positive Energy visitor accommodation, The Headwaters Eco Lodge blends mountain-modern design with local warmth. There are 14 individually decorated guestrooms with coffee/tea makers, designer toiletries, fans and hair dryers, plus terraces and garden outlooks that capture lake-and-mountain mornings.

Pamper-yourself options include onsite massages and a spa center, while outdoor space features a terrace, garden, picnic and barbeque areas. Complimentary Wi‑Fi, a bar/lounge, a coffee shop/café and a cooked-to-order breakfast keep things easy. Shuttle and airport transfer services are available for a surcharge, and free self-parking is onsite.

Meeting-ready with 1,292 sq ft (120 m²) of conference space and two meeting rooms. The lodge offers complimentary Wi‑Fi, multilingual staff, luggage storage, laundry and airport shuttle options on request.

An on-site restaurant serves meals and there’s a coffee shop/café for snacks. Start the day with a complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast served daily from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM, then unwind at the bar/lounge in the evening.
