If you broke something (mirror, table, bed, etc.) in the apartment or if you caused something to stop working (such as electrical stuff, etc), please inform the Host immediately.
You can negotiate with the host about the option of compensation or other solution to this issue directly through the Karta chat.
To do this:
- Write to the host in chat. Describe the situation, attach photos/video evidence.
- Wait for the host's response.
- If you have found a compromise, and agreed with the host to compensate the damage, keep all the necessary evidence (receipts of purchase of new items/receipts of payment for damage/photo or video confirmation).
- If the host does not respond, or if you have not agreed on a method and/or amount of reimbursement, you can ask Karta to intervene and help. Send a request to help@karta.com and provide all the information you have.
