Gorgonia Beach Resort  

On Egypt’s Red Sea coast, 48 km south of Marsa Alam along the Halayeb we Shalateen road, this beachfront resort sits inside Wadi el Gemmal national park. The complex is spread across 22 low-rise buildings in quiet surroundings directly on the beach. It’s an all-inclusive, family-friendly base for diving and laid-back coast time.

Rooms offer air conditioning, heating, TV, telephone, a fridge, hairdryer and a private terrace or balcony. Expect simple seaside décor and practical comforts. Accessibility includes an elevator, and guests have access to laundry and pressing services. A beauty centre and a sauna bring some spa-style downtime.

Several swimming pools including a children’s pool, amphitheatre and a games room. Sports options include tennis, basketball, table tennis, archery, boccia and billiards. Water-sports are available for a fee and a PADI diving centre is close to the beach. Nightlife features bars, a piano bar and a discotheque, plus on-site shops.
