Casas de Montejaque

Tucked into the white-washed village of Montejaque in the Andalusian mountains. A true mountain retreat that's about 1.5 hours from the Costa del Sol or Seville. Walk to nearby sights like Cueva del Gato, Via Ferrata Benaojan and Centro Plaza, and find a restaurant, bar and supermarket roughly 500 m away.

Rustic, village-style holiday houses spread across several small complexes. The main complex, La Posada, has nine houses; La Hacienda and La Huerta add more, while other homes sit scattered through the village. Each house is self-catering with a kitchenette (oven, fridge, microwave, kitchenware), a living room with a fireplace and heating, a bedroom, bathroom and a terrace or balcony for mountain views. Note: the site has level changes and up to 500 m walking distance from reception, so it isn’t ideal for guests with walking difficulties.

Three swimming pools at the main La Posada complex (guests are told which pool to use based on their booked unit), plus gardens, laundry service and an administration office. Reception has limited opening hours, and staff provide check-in instructions for arrivals outside those times. Expect cozy fireplaces, private terraces and self-catering kitchens—wake up to crisp mountain air and quiet village streets.

No on-site restaurant is listed, but a restaurant, bar and supermarket are about a 500 m stroll from the properties. Ideal for picking up ingredients for your self-catered stay or hopping out for a casual evening in the village.
